This Privacy Policy explains how PromptLens, operated under Nigana International Community, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash).
  • Uploaded content: images you scan, generated prompts, and any reference images uploaded during Editorial Mode revisions.
  • Usage data: coin transactions, scan history, publish status, and interactions such as copy or edit events.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information, collected automatically for security and rate-limiting purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate core features: scanning, Editorial Mode, publishing, and the coin wallet.
  • To detect and prevent fraudulent coin activity, including duplicate reward claims from the same account.
  • To communicate service updates, security notices, and optional product announcements.
  • To improve our vision engine's accuracy over time.

3. What Stays Private

Scanned images and their generated prompts are private by default and visible only to you until you explicitly tap "Publish." Draft revisions in progress within Editorial Mode are not shared until submitted.

4. What Becomes Public

Once you publish a scan, the original image, its prompt (v1), your username, and the full revision history (including contributions from other users) become visible to anyone browsing the Explore feed, including users who are not signed in.

5. Third-Party Services

We use third-party infrastructure providers, including AI vision processing services and cloud hosting/database providers, to operate PromptLens. These providers process data solely to deliver the service and are bound by their own data protection obligations.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Published content and its revision history may persist even after account deletion if other users have built upon it, though your personal identifying information will be disassociated from it upon request.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can manage most of this directly from Settings, or contact us for assistance.

9. Children's Privacy

PromptLens is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be noted on our Changelog page.
